pcv valve
PCV valve is in easy spot. If you look under the throttle body, just below and towards the passenger side of the car (looking on the back, right corner of the engine block) you will see a hose coming out of the back of the engine. It is below the throttle cables. The hose goes into one end of the PCV valve (a circular-ended valve with a circumference near an inch), the other end of the valve is inside of the chamber. Slide the crimp up the hose and, with some firm tugging (needle-nosed pliers help), remove the hose from the valve. From there, you can fit the pliers into the end of the valve and pull it up. It is about 3.5 inches long (give or take) and about $3.50 to replace. On the new one, I would add a little bit of high-temp grease or silicone (just a tiny bit) to the outside of the end that will be inserted back into the chamber. I could not insert the valve fully until I did this. ALso, the grease will make for easier removal next time.
It helped me to move some of the cables and hoses out of the way for easier access. Good luck.
