Stock fuel filter vs. 300ZX

What difference would it have to put a 300zx filter in my car?

The 300ZX filter is larger I gather, and has to be changed every 30k miles rather than every 15k like the stock one. There is no performance gain or loss.

the 300zx filter is rated to last longer! 25k or 30k miles vs 15k for Maxima ones...
