Can anyone tell me if they offer such a thing? I've heard that they have service manuals on CDROMs but have never seen one. If so, where would you get one?

Wow! 295 bucks...I assume they are actual shop manuals then? Not available for the 4Gen? What about other makes and models?

4th gens are available on CD.

Perhaps you could do a pseudo group buy. If you can find ten others who want the FSM on CD, just buy a single copy and have someone burn 9 copies. The person who does the burning gets to keep the original. I have a burner.

Ya I got a burner too but I'd have to have a bunch of people commit because the price is pretty steep.

That's pretty good idea, I got a burner too. I don't really care who keeps the original. I think that person who keeps the original pays for blank CDs and shipping for copies. Another idea is to make as many copies as we need and sell original from e-bay or return it back for full refund(if return policy allows). This is open for suggestions though. I'm sure we can get a lot of people on this - if we get 10 people on this it's $40 a person, if 20 - than it $20 a person and so on. If we sell the original than it even less. Paper factory manual is $120, one on CD is $400 - 450 (I'm not sure). It is more detailed than paper manual. Count on me on this.
