B&M Shifter Question (Sorry No Search)

Just wondering if the B&M shifter itself is shorter than the stock one. That is, does the shift **** sit lower than before? Thanks.

Hmmmmm...let's try this again. It's called a "short shifter" because the actual "throw" of the shifter is shorter.

My question is whether or not the shifter is actually shorter, and the **** sits lower. Thanks for your help though.

I believe it sits about 1.5" lower. The shift pattern is also moved up further towards the dash.
