NOT AGain :(

well i went to the mechanic and asking what was wrong with my car... and he said that i needed to replace my clutch and flywheel.... does anyone know what's the best clutch to by besides does ACT clutchs and a good flywheel.any info would be great.. thank you

Why pay for an ACT?! is your car heavily modded?! Just stick with stock and save over 150bucks, and save you tranny as well...

I definately say stay with the stock clutch, and maybe get yer flywheel lightened... (not sure if that's possible though)

4th gens cant have their flywheels lightened.
aftermarket flywheel is not worth it unless you are a SERIOUS racer.

so far i love the ACT. and many others do to. but some have complained about it breaking stuff. i hope its cause they drove it wrong. but whateva.

so stay with stock means get a clutch from the nissan dealer... and the same for the flywheel? i haven't ask them yet, but im sure it's going to be really expensive.... any place where i could get it for a good price... thanx for all the replies

my nissan dealer quoted me 175$ for a new clutch set cheap if u ask me....but to get it done by them will cost me 450 in labor or just a weekend of my time hmmmmmmmmmm i think i will do it myself

nissan dealership "recommended clutch" = KEY VALUE

key value = GARBAGE

ask them for the OE clutch from japan... that runs about $230 from dealership.

Why did they say you needed a new flywheel? Most people just have theirs resurfaced.

i dont know why he told me that i needed to replace my flywheel.... but he said that the car shakes too much and that the flywheel needs to be replace.. he used to work at the nissan dealer.. so I GUESS he knows what he's talking about...all of you thank you very much for all your replies... what im going to do is by the exedy stage 1 clutch and see how it goes
