Hi,
I noticed a slight increase in my fuel economy. When I first got the car I've driven 350 miles/15 gallon tank(1996 maxima gle). During winter I've driven 190 miles/15 gallon tank, and this summer I'm only reaching 240 miles/15 gallon tank.

Since I received 4 tickets lately(wreckless driving, no seatbelts, headlights, and evading a cop) I am in need of money. That's why I am looking for all possible tips/mods for incresing my miles per gallon.

Anyone ever got a wreckless driving ticket as a first moving violetion and won the court case? If so, what excuse did you use?

 

Jeeez, your insurance must be sky high! What were you evading a cop for anyways?

 

Maximas have a 18.5 gallon tank, the LOW FUEL light comes on at exactly 2 gallons left...

 

It was dark, I received my permit late so had 10 more days till regular license....
The cop never had his sirens on so I kept driving, and since I had more than 1 person in my car and it was 12:00 am, I decided to turn into first dark alley and let my friend drive. Since it was wet and the turn was rapid, I did a 180 in the parking lot(cop didn't see it) and when I was about to get out of the car, a cop car was passing by.... Than he saw me, turned the siren on and told me to get out of the car with my hands in the air....
Do you think I could get away with wreckless driving in court though(with a lawyer)?

 

Damn, quite a bit of a mess. Was that how you got the wreckless driving? or was it something different? couldnt really say w/o knowing what happend for you to get the reckless driving.

 

I guess, since the cop was looking for skid marks behind the car.
If I plea guilty, what do you guys think?
