Anyone with EBC Greenstuff or Hawk Performance Brakes ?

I am in the market for buying new aftermarket brakes. I am down to the Hawk Performace and the EBC Greenstuff brakes. What does everyone recommend and how do they ride on your cars? Big difference?

I have the EBC Greenstuff. I like the better braking performance, but I am a little disappointed with the dust.

How much better is the performance compared to stock? Why are you disapointed with the dust? How much does it actually produce?

They don't dust anymore than the cheap ones do. I just thought for the money that they wouldn't dust as much. As far as performance, they just seem to grab better than stock and slow you down faster. I think next time I would just go with a carbon metallic.

You can buy carbon metallic brake pads just about anywhere. I am going to buy Performance Friction Carbon Metallic. I believe they are available at Auto Zone. I have heard good things about them and they are not supposed to dust as much.

Hawk Performance is the brand, not the pad. Which Hawk pads are you talking about? EBC greens and Hawk HPS are good street pads. Don't try to do any serious racing with them though.

I like the grip the ebc greens give me with cross rilled sdimpled rotors and I think that the brake dust has been reduced by at least 60% and believe me I know I have black and chrome wheels I just dont like the fact they they squeek alot
