Best Brake Pads

I plan on replacing all 4 of my rotors with basic new rotors, which brake pad will give me the best stopping power and quietest stop without spending a lot of money? What material brake pad is the best to get for good stoping power and a quiet stop?, i cant stand a squeaking brake system.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: Re: Best Brake Pads

I just recently bought four new brembo blank rotors and axxis metal masters. I did the work myself and had no problems. The brake pads are great. They never squeeked at all. I used the anti-squeel stuff on the back of the pads and shims. I love how my car stops again. It's saved me a few times from plowing into stupid drivers....

Good luck.

Metal Masters used to be "The Pad" about a decade ago. Sure, they are easily twice as good as OE pads, but the high amount of metal also eats the rotors. Poterfields are the best street/high performance pad that is easy on rotors, lasts longer, and are easily twice as good as the Metal Masters. They do cost more, but it'll save you money in the long run as they'll last longer and you won't need to replace rotors as quickly.

It makes me laugh when people don't want to spend money on brakes, which is the one place you don't want to be "not spending a lot of money" in. Hope that helps.
