I have a question. I just order my CAI and I am going to order an Y- pipe next. My question is if I install the y-pipe and change my pipes like 2 1/2 and kept my stock muffler will I gain any HP by doing this or will this be a waste of time because I am still running with the stock muffler? In addition, will the car get louder? Thanks

Gains with y-pipe

Wayne, you will gain h/p by installing a y-pipe. It will also be louder, but with the stock muffler, should be at a decent level. 2.5" is a good idea as well. The combination CAI and Y-pipe are considered by many as the best bang for the buck mods. I would also recommend the ECU upgrade. These 3 mods are all very worth it, other mods add h/p, but not as much as these do. BTY WarpSpeed offers Y-pipes at reasonable prices. Hope this helps. Dan WSP

the stock muffler isnt to restrictive so it wont due much damage but with the y pipe your car will get louder. and go with the 2.5 pipes like Dan said
