Lowered 97-99 SE with stock rims

How many people have lowered their Maxima's but kept the stock 16in SE wheels? How do you like it?
Anyone have pics?

Hey are you 5speed or Auto??? Your car looks more agressive then most H&R drops (back higher then front). I had sag so bad I bought spaces and shaved them down so I sit a little higher in the back then the front. Kinda what yours looks like now. It looks so much better that way.

Yeah, I got stock rims on my '99 SE 5 Speed. I lowered it with H&R's and KYB AGX's - - - I love the combo. I also got wider tires - instead of 215's I got 225's - no rubbing - it feels great.

You should get it lowered - it looks so much better!!!! It handles great too!!!

This is the way to go... check out this thread!!!

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hreadid=219858

I got my H&R'S for 205 from www.tirerack.com but check the group deals section and for sale I thought I saw a set the other day.

Your stock struts will work, but not for long...it's best to replace them since you are installing the springs as well.

Since those *******s at tires.com ran out of my rims I am still stock with H&R's and AGX. It's okay...suspension is stiffer as you would expect....
