Debadging......??

Just wondering what my car would look like debadged. If there is anyone out there that has a pebble beige 4th Gen that is debadged, I would really appreciate it if you could post some pics of the front and rear of the car. Also what do you guys think, should I debadge my max or leave them on. Thanks for your help everyone!

Why don't you post a pic of your rear, and someone can photoshop it for you?

Or you could do it yourself if you can photoshop. Otherwise, photo editor or paint & cut and paste works too

Oh yeah ... I have a white 4th gen (95-96 style), and I have a pic on my homepage with just the M A X I M A ... I removed the hamburger. It's photoshopped (coz I wanted to see how it would look) but I ended up doing it anyway.

My color is artic pearl white (not pebble beige) but it will hopefully give you an idea.

inj3n,

Post those pics if you get a chance. I've been thinking lately with all the recent posts of taking off the black vinyl between my doors. I have a white '97, so it'll let me know how it looks. It's either remove them, or replace them because mine are faded and scratched. I've already priced the vinyl tape, and that'll be less than $10 total. Putting it on right may be a challenge, though.

no prob, i'll post the pics 2morrow night in this topic when i get my digi back. The black vinyl looked like crap and it would have cost me like 20 bucks for new ones so i figured what the hell, take it off if it looks like crap just get the new vinyl. I love it though, gives it a nice sporty look IMO

Thanks for the pics. Looks good. I'm really thinking about taking off the black vinyl and leaving it off now. I'll have to sleep on it, and get to whatever I'm going to do tomorrow. (I just got done wiring/installing a switch for my reverse lights. Put a red glow rocker switch by the dimmer switch so I can turn on my reverse lights anytime I want. Good for tailgaters!!). Again, thanks for the pics.

Here you go. I actually have the Maxima one but I photoshop it for you

The front won't look good cuz the grill has the shape of the nissan thing.

Thanks for everyones help, today I plan on taking off the Nissan badge on the back and leaving the MAXIMA on there. Also I am seriously thinking about taking that vinyl off between the front and rear windows. Any advice there on how to avoid running into any big problems while taking off the vinyl.

Goo-gone, something like that. Wal-Mart has some cheap brands ( I bought some in a clear bottle, looks like water Wipe Away I think it was called, something like that...); I am not sure that you need anything expensive, just be cautious of the ingredients as to not damage the clear coat.

Heres what I did... For the debadge I heated the emblems, took some pretty thin fishing line and "flossed" it between the emblems and the car, then after they were all off it left alot of the adhesive so I then heated that and rubbed it off with a cloth, then the remaining residue I just used some goo gone. Same thing with the vinyl (minus the fishing line), although the vinyl took alot more time and sore fingers
