Aftermarket Headlights (not bulbs)? Options?

As you all know, 4th gen headlights suck. I love cars with a good beam pattern and this car has one of the worst I've seen. The only aftermarket headlight casing I've found is a Photoshop job on Mistik98's home page (btw, i love that look). Are there any aftermarket kits out there? I would love to see a projector setup or round reflectors (ie 02-03 Max's) with sharper cutoffs in the 4th gen casing. This kind of setup would make HID's much more plausible and allow high beams. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

You can get the 01-03 max HID for $350 shipped new, but that's only if you have a 97-99 max.

I do have a 97...How does this fit since the casing is so different? Do you know of any examples of this installed?

Ummm I'm not sure, my friend converted his 99 max to the 5th gen front and I think it looks pretty good. Still I think he just should have bought a 5th gen but anyway, I'll talk to him and tell you tomorrow for sure how it works and how much it costs. But if you want to get the 5th HID kit, that's 350 shipped, I forget who it was that told me this but let me remember and I'll PM you his name.

Actually there is a few more options. Not exactly bolt on but they work. First is www.redlinemax.com which has 1 peice Cerfio headlight/cornerlight sets. And another is R32 Skyline headlights. They can be found on ebay for a reasonable price. The R32's are Projector lights, but are RHD and where as the Cerfio are LHD but not projector, but do have a better pattern from what I've heard.

There should be pics in the group deals section, the title is pretty obvious.. something like "cerfio 1 piece + HID .." Some modification is needed but it doesn't seem to be all that painfull.

Right Hand Drive and Left Hand Drive. Meaning the side where the steering wheel is.

Since we are at this subject. Anyone know any clear headlights like
the Diamond Cut bumper? I don't want to get a HID kit b/c I park my
car on the street. I'm using the Sylvania Silverstar bulb.
The OEM headlights doesn't cut it. I have a 1996 Maxima.

Does anyone have a pic of these Cefiros installed or know what type of modification they need for installation? Are they designed for HID or halogen?
