A/C Blower Motor Replacement

The bearings in my blower motor have gone out. I priced them out online and the cheapest was nissan-parts.com or something at $127.xx + shipping. Amazingly, my local AutoZone can order a new one for only $67. I checked twice to make sure it was the correct part and sure enough, it looks correct. Anyone have any experience with different motors?

Also, I took the bad one out today for inspection and I couldn't get the actual white plastic fan part off the motor. I took the 8mm nut off but it wouldn't really come off. Any tricks or suggestions on how to get it off? It's very fragile so I didn't want to really force it. Thanks...

Stay away from the Autozone motor. It it NOT exactly the same as the stock one, instead of a plastic plate that is formed to fit to the opening, it has a flimsy metal plate. Also, there is a connection for an air hose to attach to it, and it was too small for the hose. It generally looked like a piece of crap, almost like a rebuilt motor (I could see where the whole thing was spray painted black, and there was some surface rust I could see on it. Also, it had no electrical connector on it, just bare wires. I took it back. Sometimes you get what you pay for....
