removing decals, pinstripe...

I wanna remove the GLE and Nissan burger logo from my trunk. I've read that using fishing line and some goo-gone will do the trick. Do I have to heat it up before using the fishing line?

Also, I'm thinking about removing the stupid pinstripes from my car. Are they just stickers, or are they put on using the abrasive roller thingy?

thanks for the help

The pinstripes are just a sticker, as for the GLE and the Nissan oval, you could try heating them up slightly, then as you said just saw them off with some fishing line and go over it with goo-gone. Heating them up will just make the glue come off more easily.
