Please HELP

Hey guy,
tonight i was on my was to 2fast2furious( go figure) and i came apon some construction. They had droped the street probably an 1" 1/2. And the other lane was close, i had no choice but to go to it. I saw it and got to about 30mph. Now my suspension when i slow down 25mph and below makes a rubbing/ cracking noise? WHat the hell did i do : (

possible busted cv joint or cracked boot and now dirt is incide your axle making the noise when the car slows down like a crunching or sqeeking almost?

sounds about right , how expensive is that to fix?

depends some say go too pepboys get whole new cv axle and install is in the medium, difficulty range others just rebuild them... try taking the car too a place that will give you a free diagnosis if such a place exists or crawl under there yourself and check the boot see if its ripped or cracked and then you pretty much know for sure that its the cv (constant velocity axle)
