Houston Auto show
For Houston residents..
I went to the Houston auto show yesterday for opening day. Some of the concept cars are pretty lame this year. One big disappointment: NO NISSAN Z CONCEPT!!!!!NO SENTRA SE-R!!!!
The rep said there are only two (2) right now and the one stateside is on its way to Chicago for it's show starting next week. I will be flying there to see it for sure.
The mistake I made was sitting in the 20th anniversary Max. Blue over black interior. Sucks being a Maxima fan. Hear folks explaining to their girfriend about how it is a SE. Clueless. Even my girlfriend rolled her eyes at them.
Some performance booths were set up near the Acura/Honda boys. Nothing to talk about in regards to other makers. The folks working the booth didn't kknow what their own companies offer for Nissan and Mazda. There was however a good MoMo booth. A few cars with the rims on. Looked sweet.
FYI, the 2002 Q45 is there. Over 300 HP and the redesign up close is sweet. I don't have to wait until I'm fifty to own one now.

Yeah I must say the car show was rather dissappointing, the only concept that Nissan was showing was that monstrosity of a truck. But, I suppose they are trying to appeal to the masses like any company that wants to make a profit should. In any case, myself and all of my friends were truly impressed with the Q45. The sound system was quite impressive considering the doors were all open and One kid I had with me still could not believe the design of the headlights despite explanation from me. Oh well, maybe next year will be a year for sports car enthusiasts at the Houston Auto Show (cross your fingers).
