Yes it would fit. You will only need the passenger(?) side drive axle. (I think it is the passenger side).....

I will probably be going with the Phantom Grip "LSD." I'd like to hear more long-term reviews of the product, but Sport Compact Car and other race project cars seem to be happy. I'd go with the VLSD but I'm afraid of the fluid and plates wearing out, if they aren't worn out already (since I'd buy it used).

It would be the factory LSD nissan offers. Mech found the trans in a junk yard with 50,000 miles for $2000. So, it would fit perfectly? Do I need to buy an axle or is it included?

that's a lot of money for a used trans.... I think someone priced a new one from nissan for about 2800? Not sure but it's somewhere around that price

if you are going to spend 2grand on a tranny, why not by a single drive one and a quaife LSD?

Maybe I can save you a few bucks

Jerry Rome Nissan offers discounts to .org members and they have the VLSD transaxle assembly for $2,200 minus whatever the discount is (25%?) If it includes everything you need, that'd be a lot better than a 50K mile old VLSD. VLSD are know to eventually wear out.
