you can get these for about $60 at pep boys but can probably find them cheaper somewhere online

I have Raybestos QS for the fronts. They stop fine and are very quiet.

What about for brake rotors? Should I just stick to OEM, or would an aftermarket brand be OK?

I've been sticking with OEM pads...had a bad experience with Raybestos once. I'll never use them again. I also buy cheapo rotors and just replace them when I do a brake job. Around here it's $15 to resurface and $25 to buy a new one. So for $20 more.... why not?

The cheapo rotors do rust up around the hub quite a bit more than the expensive ones do. I'll probably catch some flack in the .org for this, but they work good for me!

Well, you get what you pay for. If you want awesome brakes that won't warp and last a long time with little dust and no squealing, then pay the money and go with Brembo heat treated rotors and Porterfield R4-S pads. I got the setup from Porterfield at www.porterfield-brakes.com I also painted the rotors with header paint (silver) and they look great after getting wet and hot all winter. Hope that helps.

Yeah, if you do any hard driving the Raybestos QS's might not be the best pad for you. Normally they work just fine but I've experienced a lot of brake fade when stopping from 85 - 0 on a highway offramp. FWIW, I was going down a hill so it put even more strain on the pads. I think next time around they will be replaced with Porterfields.
