.... does anyone want to try to set up another date for a group deal for the uprd ecu? i dont think i am the only one who wants this ecu but cant do it now. if we planned another group deal for like march i think we could get another 20-30 ppl and then price would not be so steep.

I think you would have a huge group deal,

if UPRD makes a ecu for all 4th gens 95-99. Which might happen since we have such a strong showing for the 95-97.

If my memory serves me currectly there was approx a 19 HP gain in the midrange and comparable TQ #'s too.So even though it only adds 5 HP on the top end you really feel it in the midrange big time!Which is very important in any race or joy ride.As for $750 ???? I think that is a tad over exaderated try $425 for the ECU shipped and $125-$175 for a 96 ECU so lets say about $575 on average.The Check engine light is to bad though but I know Cheston has a fix for it atleast I think he does.Actually he said that the Check engine light may also be caused by the fact he has a auto{by accident} ECU not a Manual one.I just hope they make on for a 98.

emax and diplomatman had the ecu in there car and they said it worth to buy the ecu from uprd e-mail them and ask them what they thought of it in there car.
