Need help on gauges

How do you take out the gauge faces from the orginal piece? There doesn't seem to be even room to even take it out. The only way i see doing it is cutting the original gauges. Can anyone help?

Sorry I can't help here, but...curiosity...Why are you taking them out? If you are planning on taking them out to put in some indiglos er something like that, I know you can just put the new gauges over the old...but I don't know what your trying to do, so...
