Adjusting Odometer

Hi. I have just picked up a new cluster 'cause i had a speedometer problem. My question is, does anyone know if I can adjust the odometer to my correct mileage? Any shops offering this type of service? Thanks in advance.

I accidently posted this thread in 5th gen. forum. Oops.. my stupidity.

Take it to the dealer, see if they'll do it for you.

We sure ain't gonna tell you how to "adjust the odometer".

Dealer won't do it. they said there are authorized shops that do the service legally but i have to look for it myself. hmm.. They said I have to give them my broken one too, so they can match the mileage and i don't have any problem with that. It's just that no one around here seems to know where the "Authorized Shops" are.

Have you checked with collision repair shops? Ask them where they take their cars or if they can take care of it. They will probably help you out.

Check in the Yellow Pages or on the Web for a speedometer service company. There's one here in Atlanta, so I know they do exist!
