Brakes....Ceramic pads vs. others ????????

Just wanted some quick info on what u'r thoughts were on ceramic pads vs. all other stuff. I have Brembo pads on Brembo Sport Rotors (drilled) now. I like them but they're a little pricy. Normal highway to city stop and go driving. thanx.....
