Need a new Cat...RT?

i think i blew my cat a lil while ago, so im gonna have to replace it...question is, should i go with a RT hi-flo cat?? wheres a good place to get one for a good price? and how much of a difference might it actually make?? will it be louder? or should i just get a stock one again?
im planning on gettin a catback in the near future too, so im gonna be gettin the 3" opening one..i already have a budget Y

From what i have heard from many org member on here R/T cats are crap and the baffles inside become loose over a short period of time. If you want an aftermarket one go with Warpspeed or Carsound. I think that Carsound's are only like $90 and can be ordered from Warpspeed's site. And BTW i would not get a 3" catback unless you are going turbo, 2.5" is fine for a N/A car. With a 3" catback you will loose a lot of low end torque.

the insides of my RT cat came loose about one month after I bought it. I just knocked all the crap out of it and now it flows real well. don't waste your money on the RT crapalytic converter. look in the FS forum and try to pick up someone's stock one.
