Aarrggh!!! Cylinder 3 Misfire STILL!!! 0606

I've done every known test suggested by various forum members to resolve my cylinder 3 misfire, but to no avail!

I tried swapping coils, eventually I purchased a new one. Code persists. I changed the spark plug. Code persists. I checked the fuel injectors and they sound fine.

Peeps, I'm at my wits end! I don't know what else I can check. I called the dealership and they suggested what many of the members on the forum suggested, including purchasing 5 more coils. The dealership did mention a possible cause for the reoccuring problem. They suggested that the wiring harness could be bad and that it might need to be replaced.

In the morning I plan on dropping the car off at the dealership so that they can try and diagnose the problem. Anyone have any suggestions before I do so?

As stupid as this question is, it's often the simple things that get overlooked. You are clearing (resetting) the CEL after attempting these fixes correct??

Also, another thing, you're doing it to the correct cylinder right? Cylinder 3 is the one in the middle closest to the firewall.

If not, I'd place my bets on the bad wiring harness.

Nope! As it turns out, the dealership said that the fuel injector on cylinder 3 was bad. I'm going to replace it in an hour. I'll keep you fine folks posted.
