I think that someone should make that magazine. Maybe this web site could start one. I would love to get a picture of my Max in there. But What type of nismo emblems do you have? I have been looking for them but I can't find them anywhere. if I can get them online let me know please!

Are we talking E-zine or in-your-hands magazine? I'd buy a rag like that but I doubt that some company is going to kick out a magazine especially for Maxima owners unless they know for sure that there will be a humongeous pile of money to be made.

I'm sure SportCompactCar magazine survives by showing a garden variety of cars like Neons, 300ZXs, Civics, Volks, etc. to a large audience rather than focus on one make. Look at the amount of advertisments there are in SCC and then think about all the ads that a Maxima mag would have.
A company has to have revenue from both sides to survive so the bottom line is money.

I think what SCC should do is offer sections to each make of car. That way they will get their numbers in mag sales and we'll have a section all to ourselves. What do you guys think? Who's gonna be the editor for that section? Hmmm? If this is a good idea then we should organize a write-in campaign to SCC.

max feature kick as*

hey vandanno, killer idea i am a reader of scc and rarely see any max,s in it.about 5-6 month,s ago in the reader,s ride section they had a 3 gen with a vg transplant yep 300z singl turbo in a 3 gen siti'n on some enki "x"road,s man it was sweet but other than that i hope to see a max in every issue i first get in the mail. but they dont feature any to bad for them. they are missi,n out on one sweet sadan and on some loyal followers. so we,r not as big a crowd as the honda civic,s folks, we still deserve a section! nissan at the least

If SCC does create a specialty section for each make the mag will probably be as thick as a Sears catalogue! Would you still buy it? I'll send an e-mail off to SCC and see what they have to say...Stay tuned

Here's my e-mail to the editor of SCC:

"Hi guys!
As a regular member of Maxima.Org the topic came up yesterday of having a Maxima -only magazine. Now I know that would not happen because in a business world the bottom line is profit in order to survive. I thought of the idea of having a section for each of the most popular cars that readers have (eg. Hondas, Mitsubishis, Nissan, Toyota, Chrysler) and drive. You currently run a section for Hondas already. Now I buy your mag only if the articles are related to me (eg. Maxima, superchargers) but if you create a few more sections then I'm sure your magazine sales will increase abit more. It may make your magazine a little thicker but I'm sure that won't hurt sales.
This topic may have already been brought up in your office but I'm wondering what do you guys think? "
