Does the Max use speciallized brake pads. If not, what should I use or not use.Can I use auto zone or pep boys pads. Do I use metalic or semi.

Don't use those cheapo generic pads. Stick with OEM pads or go with something like Axxis or EBC. The Axxis will produce less dust than the EBC, but the EBC will have better bite on the rotor. For street use, go with Axxis, for track use go with EBC
