Check into Warpspeed. Find info at http://www.warpspeedperformance.com. I just bought one of their y-pipes and it is amazing. No bees in a can sound, and very powerful(3tenths off my e.t.-gtech). They make one in Stainless Steel if you are concerned about life or an aluminized one. They are very friendly and have good customer service and have the LOWEST prices I've seen. you might want to check into them.

I'm also looking into getting a y-pipe...have heard some complaint of fitment problems with CERTAIN version of Stillen and Cattman, which is my main concern since i'm planning to do the installation myself and am not looking forward to cutting/torching anything to solve the fitment problems. Any problems with the Warpspeed fitment? Specifically this is for the 4th gen '99. The price for the SS version on Warpspeed site seems to be the lowest around.

WarpSpeed fitment?

It will slide in and bolt right on. We took alot of time and spent alot of cash getting it right. It was alot of trips to the shop, tweaking here and there, changing position of 02 sensors, listening to our customers. We feel its a good as it gets. If problems are reported we will go back for another look. Call us if you have more questions. Thanks Dan WSP

nothing personal Dan, I'm considering your pipe as well I'd just feel better about it if I could get a handfull of people to share their experience. Maybe you could solicit their references since you know who has bought and installed it. I've only heard from like two people so far, a few more, say 5 more would help me make a decision.

I WANT to buy a warpspeed pipe, and will do so the second I see some dyno charts or testimonials from outside the company.. from what I hear, it's the best deal, now prove it...

You may have to wait a while for 5 more opinions. This item is really new, so I doubt that more than 2-3 folks have it installed. And they are the ones who are making/selling it! Maybe 5 guys* could take turns driving the 2 cars that have it, and report their findings... :-)

Standby for a flame-retarding qualifier:

* For those more sensitive types among us, "guys" is generic. I just as easily could have said, "guys/gals".

WarpSpeed y-pipe

You can do a search. Matt93GXE recently posted on recent dyno results, also Bill from Oklahona city dynod his car as well. Don't ask us. The posts are out there. We don't post the names of people who have our systems unless they do or put it in their signature.Ask AKAICEBERG, Matt93GXe, Kaleb from Courtesy Nissan, BigTexan7 about the quality, fit, and our customer service.BTY we have sold a bunch, running a new batch this week. We have taken the time and money to get this one right. We also are striving to make our systems even better. We have an idea to eliminate the flex pipe and replace it with a different type of flexable joint. When we finish fitment of our CAI, and prototyping a new Jeep system on MOnday, we will cannibilize my WarpSpeed y-pipe and put on this new joint. Will keep every one posted. If this works we will be able to drop our already Very reasonable prices. Dan WSP

Dan: I thought you were going coyote hunting and here you are again hawking our stuff.

Anwyway we have sold 5 of the gen 4 pipes and quite a few of the gen 3 pipes, as Dan said we have more in process. We are going to prototype our first CA version Gen 5 pipe in about 2-3 weeks.

I got their y-pipe, I didn't put it on yet, but I looked underneath my car and it looked like a perfect fit. Anyways, will let you know more when I install it. Service from them is awesome, I even got their catalytic converter.

I also ordered the y-pipe and hi flo cat from them. Dallas was very helpful, answered all my questions and concerns, and I would recommend their services to any one. I plan on installing them next week and I will post the results.

they are a new company, so not many people have their y-pipe yet. I think I was like thier second customer.
I don't plan to dyno my car, but I did g-tech it 6 runs on the same road, same outside air temp, no wind. 3runs in one direction, 3 in the other. Averaged all runs.
I have a 95 gle auto.

Previous average tested the same way with trans-go kit and JWT pop intake the evening before I installed the y-pipe:
0-60 in 7.3
1/4mi. in 15.74

With the addition of only the Warpspeed Y-pipe the day after the install (I gave the ecu a day to adjust):
0-60 in 6.9
1/4mi. in 15.36 [all #s represent the average of 6 runs]

80-100 the car really pulls harder.
0-30 the front end of the car seems to get light and torque steer is there. (hold on with both hands)

install was easy. I'd heard other guys with Stillen pipes say to "have a friend present for the install" so as to muscle and fit the pipe into place. this one just went right into place and does not have any clearance/alignment problems.
Sorry for the long post, I'm just really pleased with this product. I'm going to make a little section about it on my webpage soon.
