I know that the y-pipe will increase hp about 15. My question is all the hp at top end? Will you loose low end power since you are removing some backpressure?

Thanks

No, you gain power across the board. From at least 2500 rpm on up (personally, I felt gains from idle on up) there are significant gains, with the biggest gain coming around 4500 rpm. From Cattman's website:

So then the price difference for the Cattman is worth the 100+ dollars more than the Stillen?

cattman performance data

I am worried about the temp difference of those two curves. We know more heat means less power. Check the temp difference. Can anybody verify these results at the same temp.

Check into Warpspeed. Find info at http://www.warpspeedperformance.com. I just bought one of their y-pipes and it is amazing. No bees in a can sound, and very powerful(3tenths off my e.t.-gtech). They make one in Stainless Steel if you are concerned about life or an aluminized one. They are very friendly and have good customer service and have the LOWEST prices I've seen. you might want to check into them.

i went with cattman's SS ypipe cuz i got it before the end of the year...393.50 shipped to my door i went with him cuz of price, material (stainless) and his great reputation. i have never had a problem with brian catts and will continue to do business with him.

Cattman over Stillen any day, but talk to Bigtexan7 about Warpspeed's pipe.
