I want to lower my car but Im wondering should I go with the adjustable gas shock or your lowering springs and new shocks and struts. Help me out and let me know what you guys think. thanks

if you use lowering springs, you CAN use your stock struts/shocks,
but they'll wear out much sooner than with shocks/struts meant to
handle the drop.

also, search for a thread called "Suspension Questions Answered".
I used that post to help me decide what to get for my car (which
was lowered this week)

hope this helps...

drews site is awesome..read it...know it. then ask question if you still have any..

and imo..if you drop your car..get new shocks and install at same time. will save you 2 days of labor and taking your suspension apart.

eh drew..i think some of the springs specs are messed up on your site.. everyone says h&r drop a lil more than 1.5, maxspeeds only dropped mine an 1 inch becore the cut. some people report 2 inch b&g drop.. mayb you should put on what people report instead of what the company says. i havnt seen other combos for myself but one dood just put on some h&r and his fronts are like same as mine after cut.?? iono..just a thought.

His specs are correct. Every car is different. Options and model determine weight. Auto and Manual trannys make a huge difference.

My 99 SE-L drops almost 2 inches up front with H&R springs.
Others only get about a 1.5 inch drop.

Some guys's cars can vary in weight a good 300-400lbs sometimes. That makes a huge difference.
