question about sensors on stock intake piping...

So today I installed my bomz cai, but instead of drillin through the fender well I installed it in a short-ram fashion. I removed the old airbox, but left the old intake piping that comes from the front and runs to what was the lower section of the intake box, I figured it may help air flow in towards the filter easier.

My question is that I know the boost sensor attached to the front of the piping dosnt need to be connected, but there is a sensor/cable connected to the piping where it would have entered into the old air box filter on the lower half section. What is this, does it need to be plugged in still? and does having the boost sensor still attached harm anything? Thanks

just zip-tie the boost sensor to something. as for the temp. sensor, some zip-tie it close to the filter, some let it hang, and mine is hooked up through the stillen intake, on the narrow side.

So you are saying I should pull the whole unit out of the piping and ziptie it next to the filter but keep it plugged into the sensor correct?

oh ya and is a little whistle from the intake normal, I hear a small whistle around 2000 rpm's when im just crusing around, I checked all the clamps and they are all on tight, could it be the filter just givin off the noise? because over 3000 rpm the roar just emerges.
