Post pics of H&Rs
I was thinking about getting h&r springs, but I'm not sure if there is going to be a big enough drop, so I was wondering if there is a better alternative like Maxspeed or Progress Springs. I am also going to put my car on 18s and I want as smooth a ride as possible with 18s.
Check out my CarDomain Page. I have pics of my Maxima with H&R, 18"x8" wheels and Stillen Body Kit. I've had these on for about 4 months now, and I love them. I had Sprints before, but these ride much nicer. They give a good enough drop, especially if you're planning on a body kit. You don't want to go too low or else you'll be scraping everywhere. I never scrape with this setup and my driveway is pretty steep.

H&R + KYB AGX = stiff ride
had Sprints before - couldn't stand the harshnes ( stock SE wheels)
now I have H&R , rides much better - but the front is still stiff
now I'm getting some Tokicos HP for the front.
pics and measureaments are here:

Look into B+Gs as well, they drop more than H&R and ride nice. They are also kit friendly, take a look at the infamous Craig Mack mobile, he has them. I have them on my ride and by the pic nick put up, my B+Gs drop a slight bit more than that...

You've got to ask yourself a couple questions.
1) Is a lower drop more important to you than ride quality?
2) Is saving a few bucks more important to you than ride quality, quality engineering, and quality feel?
My H&R pics are on my homepage.

I scrape sometimes with my B+G's, but its mostly because of my own stupidity. From the pics that nick posted, and from his measurements of wheelgap, I would say my B+G's have the same gap in the front (2 inch) and about .5 inch less in the back (about 1.5 inches). I'm a 5 speed btw.
I would also not call these "soft" springs, but different people have different opinions on what is soft.

99Maxima5sp, do you ever scrape with your B&Gs, that's really the only thing I'm worried about

To tell you the truth, i scrape my damn dual exhuast more than anything. As far as the front, never have i ever scrapped, just be careful going up steep driveways, thats where i scrape my duals...
Im careful anyways, my last car sat waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay lower than this car so im used to driving a lowered car, this is nothing....
As far as these not being soft, i think their semi soft. You feel most bumps, but i like that type of a stiff ride, however others may not, and H+&Rs might be better for that type of person...

I was looking at these pics of H&Rs and I'm not going to get a body kit, so I was thinking about something a little lower. Would I have better luck going with Progress or B&Gs instead, and would I have any trouble with scraping with Progress springs?
