Intake/AC connection?
Intake/AC connection?
Is it true that the air supply for the AC is supplied via the stock snorkel? If this is true does that mean that if you get an aftermarket intake your AC will now draw its AC air supply from within the engine bay via that ugly black box that sits underneat the battery? This could make a huge diffrence in the effectiveness of the AC unit! Interesting....

No, the snorkel is only for the engine intake and has nothing to do with your heating & A/C.
Fresh air for you HVAC system is drawn from the cowling area under the windshield wipers.

Aha! Thanks....while we are on the snorkel topic. My air temperature sensor just dangles around and is not bolted down to anything. Is there any kind of intake out there that has a connection for it? Should I just unplug the sensor and put it in my closet?
