Taking interior apart (exclude center dash)

Im painting my interior, but I have a few minor questions that I'd rather get answered here before I scratch **** up..

How do I take off that vinyl piece behind the steering wheel?
Can I pry off the speaker grills or do I need to take apart the door?
Same thing for the door handles, just pry them off or take apart door?.. includes the frame around the handle(interior)
Side vents pry off? (Both, window defrost and a/c)
The button on the e-brake and the shift ****...?

Thanks, guys..

damn, i responded to this but my awesome 56k messed up and it didn't go through. anyways w/ the shortened version...

speaker grills can only come off when door panels are off. door handles also. the cup around the handles comes off first but you have to be careful prying otherwise you'll snap it.

the vents are tough but come out after a lot of precise prying.

the shift **** button comes out after you take out the screws and pop the whole thing up...you gotta take it all apart to get it back together though.

not sure what you mean about the steering wheel thing and the ebrake handle is kinda tough but comes off, not sure how the button comes off sorry.

hope this helps, goodluck! i learned the hard way!

everything will eventually come out but like others said for some parts you have to be more careful then others. i took everything apart like a month ago but kept on messing up(i probably was being little impatient when painting). just take your time thats all i could say... now im in a stage of sanding everything down than i will prime it, color coat it(about 3 times) and finally clear coat it. do you know what color your gonna paint it with? can you guys recommend what kind of paint i should use? i know for a clear coat nothing else works better then KRYLON's triple-thick crystal clear glaze.

thanks,
Tae
