I WENT THERE YES'DAY AND THE GUY TOLD ME $120.00 FOR ALL FOUR WHEELS AND LIFETIME WARRANTY WHICH MEANS I DONT NEED TO PAY FOR THE PADS AGAIN IN THE FUTURE IF I WANT THEM REPLACED, I JUST PAY FOR THE LABOR WHICH IS $20 BUCKS CUZ THEY HAVE SOME SPECIAL DEAL GOING ON. PLEASE REPLY IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THEIR SERVICE.

that doesn't sound like a bad deal if they turn the rotors; axxis pads also have a lifetime warranty and supposedly don't make noise or create as much dust; that's what i'm installing next

About 4 months ago I had new front pads put on my car at Midas. They did an excellent job, even allowing me to watch the guy work the entire time. They offered me 2 types of pads, one of which was better than the other so I got them. They were really good right when I got them but now they feel just a little better than stock. The stock pads that are on the back kinda grind and the fronts from Midas feel really smooth. The deal is awesome because pads are expensive, especially the labor if you don't feel like doing it yourself. I recommend you get it done there, and get the good pads.

i dunno

i went to midas about 8 months ago and had all my pads replaced and the fron rotors replaced too...they were all fine and dandy untill about 3-4 months after.. the likght sqeeking occured and now, nuch more squeeking. if i have my windows up.. i couldn't hear it.. but if it was down (*sigh*) i get mighty embarrassed. but since i really don't konw what the hell they replaced my pads with or what rotors they put on... i can't say i blame them.. so.. the lesson is.. know what you put on your car so you have someone to blame.. other than that midas was alright.. service is great...

Me too

I went to Midas a fe months ago and got my pads replaced. Last week, they started squeaking, and they squeak more and more. I took my car back to Midas and the showed me that the pad wasn't worn down. They said they cleaned it and put it back on and it still squeaks.

My past experience with Midas has been a bad one. Now this might just be this one particular Midas I went to but you never know. My dad took his car in to have his brakes done by them. They gave him this whole speil about the lifetime warranty on the pads and all that. He bought it and got the brakes. After having driven on those brakes for a while, we began to here metal on metal noises. Took it to a mechanic to get it checked out. Looks like the techs at Midas had bent the sensors on the pads that let you know when you need to change your brakes back so that there they were useless. Basically, the pad was completely worn down and was just the metal part of the pad making contact with the rotor, thus eating the rotor up. Lets just say we had to get new rotors. Life time warranty doesn't cover rotors.
Just my past experience with Midas. Those with squeeking sounds might want to get a mechanic to check that out.

Get everything in writing, price, guarantee, all of it, otherwise a $120 job ends up costing $300 b/c your rotors needed to be replaced, or their "special" somehow does not apply to you.
