Painting '96 Max. Can side mirrors covers be removed?
Painting '96 Max. Can side mirrors covers be removed?
I would prefer to remove these mirror covers and have them painted rather than tape them up. Do they just pop off or do I need to remove the whole dang mirror?
Thanks

I know first hand that the Altima mirror covers come off. Aparently the Altima's covers and some car washes don't get along.
(at least thats what the customers tell us) We've had a few come into the body shop for new covers in the past few months.

Why don't you just tape up the non-painted parts and include them in the repainting?
