GRRR!
You know, that's messed up... I called Tire Rack the other day and must have gotten someone who didn't know how to use their ordering system - told him I needed 4 KYB strut dust boots for my 97 SE and he told me they didn't carry them for my car! I told him that I knew of several others who said they got them from Tire Rack, but he was adamant - they DID NOT HAVE THEM FOR MY CAR. I didn't have time to waste; ended up getting them from Cattman - $68 for the set. I had them shipped overnight cuz I've had my GR-2s and Maxspeeds sitting here for 2 weeks now... tried to put em on last weekend and that's when I found out my boots were shot. Didn't have $$ to order more till now and I really wanted to get them installed this weekend. So I paid out the A$$ for overnight but sometimes instant gratification is worth it... I will ride on a new suspension setup tomorrow. I just wish I had called Tire Rack back to see if I could talk to someone who knew what they were talking about. Ok, rant over - I feel much better, thanks.

KYB isn't even who makes them. They simply repackage TRW boots.
The KYB part numbers for the boots are SB108 and SB103. They are advertised as 95 mustang front boots and 95 miata rear units.
The TRW part numbers for the boots are 14108 and 14103. These can be purchased at any Auto Parts Store. I bought mine at Advance for $14.89/ea for the front and $14.99/ea for the rears. They can have them for you the VERY NEXT DAY. Tire Rack will be a little cheaper, but Advance can have them more quickly. For some reason, the part description at Advance was (front control arm bushing) for the 14108's and (front end bushing) for the 14103's, but when they came in they were the right parts. Go figure.
The TRW and KYB units are the exact same item. KYB just repackages the TRW stuff and calls it their own.
Good Luck!

Different Part # from Tirerack
Well, I just placed an order for KYB strut boots at Tirerack and I actually got a different part #'s... Yes, I read the FAQ, and had the part numbers written down before I called them...
I gave the the guy my car's year & model ('99 SE), and he came up with SB103 (no problem here) & SB101 (FAQ listed SB108)... The guy told me these were the part numbers that came up when he punched in my car, so I ordered SB101 & SB103... We'll see how it goes I suppose.. May be SB101 & SB108 might be interchangeable(sp?)?
