I'm doing the skyline mod on my altezza's. a buddy of mine told me about tyc's and what they are and stuff. it sounds damn good to me, but i don't know where to get them for my car. any ideas??

TYC tails or the altezza mod? If I recall correctly, TYC tails haven't gone public due to manufacturer delays. Set date is sometime in Oct or Sept

 

i already have the altezza's, but my buddy told me you can get the tyc's bezel cover to go over the altezza's so i can skip painting them. the tyc's i saw were like $150 and up. i paid $100 for my altezza's and can get my buddy to paint them for only $50. if ya know anywere in the dc metro area that'll paint it for around that price and is really good, lemmie know. thanks again guys,

Red/clear tailights makes the Maxima!

 

i disagree, thats your opinion... my opinion is that the red/clears look to bland, like EVERY other car on the street. i wouldnt think they looked half bad if the clears were actually CLEAR instead of white (think civic)

the gen2 altezzas look good on the right car.. i plan on getting some and painting them to match my car skyline style, i think it will look a hell of alot better than red/clears.... btw if you DO opt for red clears, iwouldnt waste my money buying them, i would do the mod myself, numerous ppl here have a write up on how to do it and its much much cheaper

I think on my black 99 the carbon fiber ones will look Phat!

I got the gunmetal GenII on my sterling mist max. they look in the day and cant be touched at night b/c of the LED rings.

2 different times ive looked behind my while stopped and saw someone takin pictures of my azz (maxima) w/ those new camera phones. one dude inna hooked up galant and another inna hookrd up civic. And i know their gonna go show their "boys"
and be like "d@mn dawg, you see dis phat shyt" <--me

As for the red/clears, the mod is very difficult and many have broken their lenses doing it.

 

Damnit I wish I had a 97-99 Max instead, I want Gen 2 altezzas oh well as for the red/clears Nissan should have just done that themselves instead of bringing in that ugly orange yuck.

 

only reason they probably didnt do that was because in some states, they are illegal.
