Climate Control
you mean you have the manual control, twist the **** control?
my opinion...probably just keep it
the reason is:
1. the automated climate control has a sensor connected to it
2. the controller controls the A/C outlet and speed
in both the manual and automatic system, these outlets are actuated by some electronic motors....they are probably the same for both system...but they might not. Look into these first.
how easy or hard...probably just taking the unit of and then reconnecting wires to the actuator...now..connecting these wires might be a problem....
alright
good luck and enjoy the ride.

There are something like 3 sensors for the automatic climate control, and as much as everyone loves them; I believe this topic has been covered and the conclusion was that it wasn't worth the swap.
It's one of those options that is only best when factory installed, and to do it yourself ends up being too much hassle and a waste. Imagine installing an automatic sunroof in a car that doesn't already have one.
Although if you really want to do it, do some searches because I know this topic has been covered from top to bottom in the past, but I'm not sure if anyone successfully completed the task.
