hi I,m going to get 2 mods and want to know your opinions I,m gettin a obx cai (e-bay) and a budget y-pipe.... #1 will I and should I wrap the y-pipe too prevent noise and too raise performance?? #2 will the cold air intake trip my cell I,ve heard of this happening and I dont want to deal with it, but I think the combination will be best for the upper and lower end performance I have an intake now and like it but cold air intakes makes more sense also what the heck do you do with the cai in the winter time??? should you take it off???? and put the short ram back on or will it be o.k????? thanx for any help peace

I never wrapped my Y-pipe...I never even heard of anyone doing it.I don't really think it will make a difference..but then again I might be wrong. As far as the CAI...I wanted to get one also..but instead settled for a frankencar mid pipe and a JWT pop charger. Nice combo..and a lot of members like that combo as well..It is actually cheaper I think. And no..you dont have to take the CAI off in the winter. No one that I know has taken it off because of weather. See you at Garden City!!
