best shocks for a 97 SE

Which shocks do you guys recommend for a SE? I dont have any mod's and plan on keeping my OEM springs. I want a nice stiff ride but dont want to loose the ride quality. I was looking into GR-2's and AGX but i read some review some where that said the AGX only last for about 10,000 and then they felt weak already.

Are there any good sites that do a comparasion or reviews of all the after market shocks out there?

Can you post the reviews that you've read because I don't recall seeing where AGX's aren't a good quality strut.

KYB AGX and stock SE struts will give you great ride

KYB AGX are great struts when combined with stock springs, the front ones are bit on the stiff side when coupled with lowering springs, but stock should ride like butter !!!

i'm on front Tokicos / rear KYB AGX and H&R springs / FSTB/RSB + stock SE wheels = loving the ride !!!!

Nick.

thanks guys! gonna go with the GR-2. They seem to go well with my stock springs and hopefully thye wont wear out too quick...you guys with GR-2's how are they holding up?

My experience with after market shocks have been not too good with my previous cars. The shocks seem to wear out in a year or so when the factory shocks last for 5 or more years....is there a reason for this? are factory shocks actally better quality?

I found the prices for nissan shocks for SE and they are 100 bucks for the front and 97 for the back, each ofcourse!
