boost sensor

boost sensor

ive got a 96 5spd with a jwt pop filter and need to know what the boost sensor hose is sposed to be connected to

A zip tie. The zip tie connects to your battery cable, or somewhere else in the vacinity

which hose? the one that sits next to the one from the valve cover? that does not attach to anything

It goes to a valve near your intake manifold. That valve switches between manifold vacuum and barametric pressure. The boost sensor doesn't measure boost, it measures vacuum and barametric pressure to adjust for high altitude.

Look next to your tranny dipstick. There is this thing with 2 hoses connected to the top and 1 at the bottom. The longer of the top 2 goes to the bottom of the boost sensor.
