u can try to brake the amber lense which is plastic. underneath is clear. the only thing bout it is that it will not be level with the rest of the light. now u can take it a step further and put some of those flourecent light cover over it to make it look even. never tried it myself but thought about it many times.

Hey yellow

What your saying is possible and also very risky if you don't have the money to buy a new tail light assembly if that one happens to break.

that's why i said "i thought about many times". that is an alternative for red/clear. my idea originally was for all clears for 95-96 max. since only the outter is available i thought about purchasing those and brake the inner red piece and put the flourecent light cover over it but the major problem is how will i mold the cover to curve along with the trunk. now since mannylove's friend wants the red/clear combo this is possible because of the flat surface. risky? yes. never know unless u try. best answer i can give about this matter. hope it helps.

ofcourse I read them! But I was told that they do not make the clear tail light set for the 95/96 only the years around it. Thats why I asked.

95/96's cannot be cleared, and no name calling, or else someone will break out the , and there are not even any 's around.

I actually found some clear tails for my 95 Max, fromt he autodynamic site that someone psoted earlier. The tail lights on the ends can be cleared but the inside brake can not. At least not yet
