i have a 99 se auto matic with every option available, here is the problem: if i set the cruise control and after it is set, i use either one of my power window controls it shuts off the cruise control when the window is alowed to go either all the way up or all the way down. if i stop the window short of going all the way it doesn`t shut off, what is up with this,

 

Does it shut the whole crusise off or just disenguage?

 

it just disengauges when it happens i have to hit the resume\accel button on the steering wheel and i can continue cruising

Put a volt meter on your electrical system and just verify you indeed have a strong 13.5 volt charge while your car is running. If your alternator is weak and your running voltage is a bit low, it may effect how other electronic devices are running. Your cruise control may be very sensitive to low voltage.

Does this happen with the headlights on as well as off?

 

yes it happens with the lights on and off...i`ll check the volts thanks for the advice
