front strut bar...any suggestions?

front strut bar...any suggestions?

I was intrested in a front strut bar...i've seen a few but they look pretty flimsy, What are your takes on the Custommaximas FSTB? Ive seen the stillen one and it looks more thicker? Any advice? What are you guys using out there? Rep your FSTB... Whats the best?

i dunno about yall, but i just got one off ebay for $30 and it works fine. best $30 i've spent on a mod

The one from custommaxima may not perform any better than an ebay bar, but it looks better (IMO) and is substantially heavier, even tho it is made entirely of aluminum. I chose the custommaxima bar over an ebay bar because I wanted it to look nice when I popped the hood. (Yah, I need to clean up my plenum among other things.)

The only other thing I would say is that I had fitment problems with the right strut tower brace (passenger) where it rubs on the AC plumbing. I had to move the existing bracket so that it guards the AC line from the tower brace:

i see what you all are saying... but performance wise its pretty much all the same right? Because some bars seem more heavier? so is there a big difference in performance from no bar at all? by the way it seems like custommaxima is winning in my opinion... good looks and price isnt too bad either...hummmm
