KYB AGX- Alignment question...

I just installed KYB AGX with Maxspeed springs. Love the ride and the improved handling. When the shop installed them, they asked me to come in, drive it around, and choose what suspension settings I wanted before they did the alignment. So here's my question:

Does changing the settings on the KYB AGX shocks alter the setup so much that the alignment is affected? If so, what's the point of having "adjust-at-will" shocks?

Thanks in advance for your input!

Adjusting the settings on your KYB's doesn't even do anything to your alignment. You are not adjusting the posityion of the sock.

That's what I thought as well; you're only adjusting the shock's resistance to being compressed, not the actual length of the unit. Good to hear it from someone else though!

Thanks!

Yup. I had the alignment done with the setting at 2 front, 2 rear. I just wanted to confirm that changing those settings won't require ANOTHER alignment!

Thanks guys.

I know shops like to align the front end right after a strut install but its a good idea to run your setup for a couple of weeks before aligning the front end. I dropped my Max last Saturday will align everything next Friday. I just wanted to make sure I had no issues before aligning.
