I have a 1997 maxima. I installed the reverse indiglo guage from custommaxima and they worked and looked great. The next day when i went to turn on the headlights they no longer light up. I checked the ground wire and it was still attached and the fuse was ok. I dont see any pinched wires, so i was wondering if any of you know what the problem may be(the control box, or reastat maybe?) Also have these specific guages from custommaxima had any problems before.

 

Do you have a dimmer control? Maybe that is turned all the way down.

 

do u have any other lights hooked up 2 either your parking or head lights?? i had my fog lights hooked up 2 the park lights and my gauge did not come on and no fuses were blown. i disconnected the fogs and the gauges worked.

 

i have the dimmer switch and it was all the way up. I have it where the foglights come on with the headlights. Would this really affect the gauges?

 

Come on i know someone knows something that may be causing this.

 

its not the stock fog lights r they??if they r now, disconnect them 4 a while and c if the gauges come on. i had the same prob except my fogs were connected 2 the parking lights..
