O2 sensor replacement

Anybody done the 2 front ones yourself. If so, did you manage to get all 4 frickin' tabs disconnected on each wire? Damn for that one that connects up near the firewall it's impossible to reach the 2nd clip from the bottom. I'll cut the wires since I'm installing a brand new one but did anyone else run into this problem? Is there a good angle to come at it from or something simple to remove to make more room? I couldn't see anything to make it easier.

Yeah, I ended up having to cut the cable. At the connector, there is a spot for the snap rivet about 2 inches from the connection point. Then there is another one about 4 more inches down the line that is into some sort of brass looking bracket. The two that I could reach from the bottom I got popped and that one right by the connection but the 4th one wasn't available. I yanked on the cable from both ends hoping to snap it free but to no avail.

Thanks for the feedback. I got all three done pretty quick, tightened a boost pipe connection and went for a spin. Car still ran really rough but seemed to settle down a bit after a couple of trips around the block. I'm still concerned that I have a coil pack problem despite using my multimeter to test them when they were out of the car for the spark plug being replaced. I need to do a voltage test on those now.

And the saga continues...
