Beige owners- Pin stripe or no pin stripe?

I just removed mine and I am not sure if it looks any better. I think I liked it better before. Any opinions?

No. My car came with 2 brown pin stripes that ran down the length of the car.

No pinstripe looks better. I bought mine new and insisted that the dealer remove the pinstripe they had put on there before I took the car. No regrets. Pinstripes tend to collect wax unless they are painted on and can discolor over time.

Mine has a pinstripe, which I have left on there for the simple reason that I don't MIND it, so I am leaving it as is- for now. I am kinda worried that I might end up wiht paint discoloration. I removed the stripe from the trunk when I shaved the hamburger, and that looks fine, but it was a pain in the **** to remove.

Henry, I have a 96 and there wasn't any discoloration of paint. It wasn't difficult to remove either. I just used my fingernails and pulled consistently and it came off pretty easy. Good luck.

I was going to remove it and found out that some idiot body shop clearcoated over it sometime before I owned the car.

Definitely no pinstripe on my beige '95 SE. Leave the pinstripe on the chevy nova's.

Same thing happened to me, so I'm stuck with the ugly brown stripes. Whoever invented the pinstripe is a pole smoker, IMO.
