damn jeeve old *** thread bump lol. i had maxspeeds with 240sx wheels like 4 years ago. small pic was all i could find:
it was a very small drop but better than stock nonetheless. very comparable to the H&R ~1.4" drop.

I just wanted to take the coilovers off for now and wanted a cheap setup (Maxspeeds/stock struts) for now and during winter. Wanted to see if the drop is enough to keep the 18s on but it seems like its going to look horrible.

Hey guys i know this thread is old but i too am lookin for info on the max speed springs. I currently have those cheap ebay Zenn springs that lowered me 2 inches all around but im afraid the ride is a bit too harsh for my pregnant wife and baby. By too harsh i mean it bottoms out on the struts with almost zero suspension travel remaining. I've trimmed the bumpstops to gain some more travel and while it helped alot, its just not enough.
Im hoping the maxspeeds raise the car a little bit like they sound they do. I saw they compare to the H&Rs in drop is this right? Im not lookin to spend alot of money since its just our beater. And i'd rather sacrifice the slammed looked i love so much for my wife's ability to drive it comfortable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have maxspeeds with kyb-gr2's and it rides fine. its like an se now, it will be 1.5 front and 1.3 rear and it looks like i barely have it dropped and im fine with it. here's a pic....

OT nice clean good looking car max ride, but i just wanted to offer a little constructive criticism if you don't mind. AE those headlights to match the corner lamps, it will look sweet on your dark color. Sorry for the OT

im gettin ready to do r34's with rsx'x and hid retro bro. next week i hope!!! i had jdm's with black corners and 6000 hyper whites until last july, damnit!
