www.nissanparts.cc has the best price. About $160 for the pair plus $16 for shipping. These are Nissan parts.
No, as both the OEM and Strong Arm replacements have the same OEM. So, you can get the $20 ones with a lifetime warranty (that you will return every 2 years or so) and get free replacements when they wear out or keep blindly paying Nissan many mnore times that and no warranty,
I paid $35 total for Strong Arm replacments in 2001 and replaced them this year for free.
The problem is Nissan's specs for these struts are VERY inadequate. So, Strong Arm/Mighty Arm type replacements are only adhering to the same spec, so they are all doomed to fail sooner rather than later. This is why you go aftermarket and get a lifetime replacement set rather than visiting a dealer to be reamed every couple of years.
Yet another in the line of cost cutting measures undertaken when the 4th gens were made.

Need to find StrongArms somewhere around here so I can pay cash and get them replaced right away when they get worn out and not pay for shipping

go to autozone, and get the strong arms, mine are fine after a year.
my dealer wanted 200 for the pair.
good luck

Man my aftermarket ones failed in about 4 months. They suck so I have just been using a baseball bat until I go and get new ones under warranty. I'd put in an arm like other cars have to save yourself some trouble.
Advance Auto Parts in my area stock the 4524 ones. As is already covered in the FAQ sticky thread, the 4524 may be ordered through partsamerica.com, though you will have to ship your "dead" ones back once they've worn out (and they will, unfortunately).
I put a mag bra on my car and the stock "Hood Struts" or "hood lifts" arnt stong enough.
does anyone know of a cheap but "stong" replacment that will be able to hold up the extra weight?
Its not that much more, with the stock ones i can get the hood up, but if the car wiggles a bit while i am under the hood i get clucked on the back of the head LOL
And how do i go about removing the stock ones?

Like I've stated time and time again, replacements are OEM'd to the same specs as Nissan's. Since Nissan was brilliant enough to "cheapen" the actual load its struts could handle on the 4th gens, no known replacement is going to hold up over a long term. That's why you go to a store that sells the aftermarket ones such as the 4524 with a lifetime warranty so you won't have to financially worry about it.
